Celebrating Annette Wisler: 40 Years of Dedication Earns ‘Who’s Cool at Your School’ Honor
Posted on November 3, 2025It was a special morning at Madison Elementary as U93’s Bayless & Tara stopped by to surprise one of our own, Annette Wisler, with the exciting news that she’s the “Who’s Cool at Your School” winner!

Students and staff gathered in the cafeteria, where Annette was hard at work helping students during lunch. That’s when the announcement came, followed by cheers and applause from the Madison community. Along with the honor, Annette received gifts from local businesses as part of the recognition.
Annette has worked for Penn-Harris-Madison for an incredible 40 years. She began her career at Madison, spent time at Mary Frank and Elm Road, and later returned “home” to Madison, where she continues to make a lasting impact every day as a teacher’s aide.

Madison Principal Lindsay Schirripa shared,
“Sharing the news that Annette had won the U93 Who’s Cool at Your School with our entire school was such an honor. Her decades of dedication, kindness, and unwavering care have touched generations of PHM students, particularly the Madison community. Seeing her get the recognition she so deeply deserves filled my heart with joy—she is truly loved, appreciated, and admired by all who know her.”

Annette received more nominations than anyone has ever received for the “Who’s Cool at Your School” program, many of which echoed the same theme of kindness, dedication, and joy. Madison Music Teacher Katelyn Lockwood’s nomination beautifully captured Annette’s spirit:
“Mrs. Wisler has been a part of the PHM family for 40 incredible years! I’m so lucky to work alongside her every day in kindergarten, where she pours her heart into everything she does … I have never met anyone who spreads joy, kindness, and positivity quite like Mrs. Wisler. She
is a true treasure to our school and community!”

Congratulations, Annette, on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your 40 years of service, care, and #PHMExcellence!
